ZUK Z2 is ZUK’s flagship smartphone powering Qualcomm’s top processor chipset – Snapdragon 820. Those that can compete with ZUK 2 can only be the flaship smartphones from other branded makers, such as MEIZU Pro 6, a smartphone has got all MEIZU technologies rolled into one.
Design & Appearance
On first sight of Lenovo ZUK 2 and MEIZU Pro 6, they look alike each other. The only differences is the speaker, the front camera and the home button.
MEIZU Pro 6 adopts symmetry design for light sensor and the forefront camera, so it looks a little more gorgeous.
One home button is more rounded, one is more sqaure. ZUK Z2 gets the home button a little protruding. Both home buttons also function as back button.
The display border differ little. MEIZU Pro 6 has a small SM black line in the display order. The black line is visible.
The neatness of ZUK Z2 is better than that of MEIZU Pro 6. ZUK Z2 features 2.5D glass, so it touches very cool, while MEIZU Pro 6 does full metal enclosure chasiss. MEIZU Pro 6 has got the antenna line circled arond the top side and the bottom side, which will be featured by iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus as well.
ZUK Z2 features a 13MP rear camera, but without dual color flashlight; instead MEIZU Pro features a 21.16MP rear camera with dual color flashlight. So MEIZU Pro 6 will take better photos in total.
The screw holes and layout on both smartphones are very similar. But they differ very much in thickness. ZUK Z2 is obviously 1.2mm thicker than MEIZU Pro 6.
Both MEIZU Pro 6 and ZUK Z2 look no big different, just that MEIZU Pro 6 is thinner and more rounded and ZUK Z2 touches better.
Performance & Battery Life
MEIZU Pro 6 powers MediaTek Helio X25 and 4GB Ram. Helio X25 is a chipset capable to rival Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.
ZUK Z2 powers Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 made in 14nm processing technology.
ZUK Z2 scores obviously higher than MEIZU Pro 6 on Antutu. The main advantage ZUK Z2 has lies in 3D performance.
ZUK Z2 also scores higher on GeekBench for single core computing. MEIZU Pro 6 wins for the multi-core computing.
3DMark test MEIZU Pro 6 and ZUK Z2 for GPU performance. ZUK Z2 scores very higher than MEIZU Pro 6. So ZUK Z2 is better than MEIZU Pro 6 for gaming.
As said above, ZUK Z2 is thicker than MEIZU Pro 6. But this downside brings in an upside – a bigger battery. ZUK Z2 houses a 3500mAh battery, MEIZU Pro 6 2560mAh. So ZUK Z2 lasts longer than MEIZU Pro 6 in the same usage situation.
