Xiaomi TV holds a disassembly event on August 14 at 5 Color City in Beijing. The Xiaomi product to disassemble is Mi TV 3. Xiaomi Mi TV 3 is available in two variants – 55 inches and 60 inches. Both of them are detachable TVs, being priced at 3299 Yuan ($508) and 4299 Yuan ($663). Now let’s see what is inside and how is inside.
The circuit board and the motherboard all reside near the bottom on the inside back of the chassis or the detachable TV host station. The board looks not just compact but also compact.
The first one to disassemble is the T-CON board of LCD of the 55 inches one, mainly converting the LVDS digital signal at the logic time controlling to the digital signal for the LCD to drive the LCD to display image.
The T-CON board for the 55 inches Mi TV 3 is provided by Samsung Display – Samsung VA Display Screen.
Now disassembling the power board in charge of adjusting and providing the electricity to the display, speaker, host station etc.
Full of resistor, capacitor, coil coupling transformer.
Compact and neat, and solid.

Now time to disassembly the TV set. The Mi 3 TV set is an integration of TV Box and Speaker.
The speakers lies at the two ends of the TV set and the processor resides at the center.
Both Mi 3 TV set for the 55 inches and the 60 inches are the same – powering Mstar 6A928.
This is the 60 inches Mi TV 3, a little different from the 55 inches, but most remains same.

Like the subject says, no matter what, Xiaomi Mi 3 TV has compact design and solid sturdy quality.
