We all know that Samsung smartphones ships the most in the world, but only some of us know that Huawei smartphones are more secured than Samsung smartphones.
A media in Australia reports on June 29 a latest research from Duo Labs showing the frequency Huawei releases Rom updates for bugs and security is much higher than that Samsung does.
Duo Lab claims those Samsung smartphones able to receive Android OS updates takes up 62% of all Samsung smartphones, but only 15% updates are for Android security, and thus Samsung ranks 5 among Google’s 9 original device makers; but 77% Huawei smartphones update for security.
Google starts to offer security updates from August, but those smartphones running Android 4.4.4 and lower OS takes up 23% and can’t receive updates for security.
Nowadays many Android smartphone makers only release updates for the main products, such as Samsung’s Galaxy series and LG’s, but too many smartphones never receive updates for security.
Bloomberg reports Google is considering to name those smartphone makers that haven’t released any security updates.
